Lanpec Technologies Limited (abbreviated as "LANPEC", Stock Code: 601798.SH), is an affiliate of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH)—a key centrally administered state-owned enterprise under direct supervision of the Central Government of China.

The company traces its origins to the Petroleum Machinery Research Office established in 1958 under the Chemical and General Machinery Research Institute of the First Ministry of Machine Building. It was formally founded as the Lanzhou Petroleum Machinery Research Institute (LANPEC Institute) in 1960, marking its legacy as China’s earliest state-owned research institution dedicated to scientific R&D of equipment for the petrochemical industry. LANPEC listed on the Main Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2011.
