Utility system is used as production and living support system for offshore oil platform and surface gathering system.The facilities provides necessities for normal production activities and personnel living, or shared by other equipment. 

Major types of equipment include instrument/utility gas storage tanks, instrument/utility gas receivers, hot water pressure tanks, potable water tanks, pressurized water tanks, various types of storage tanks such as crude/diesel/hot media oils, hot water expansion tanks, electric heater units, open venting tanks, closed venting tanks, air compressor skids, and various types of pumping skids.
