LANPEC serves as the designated technical authority for the petroleum drilling machinery and petrochemical equipment industry. It is a National High-Tech Enterprise and hosts the secretariats of three subcommittees under the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Boilers and Pressure Vessels:

    Subcommittee on Heat Exchangers

    Subcommittee on Mobile Pressure Vessels

    Subcommittee on Low-Temperature Pressure Vessels

The company holds leadership positions (including Chair, Vice-Chair, or Secretariat roles) in nine committees, such as the Drilling Equipment & Tools Branch of the China Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association. Additionally, it participates in 28 other industry technical associations and societies.

LANPEC leads the development and revision of relevant national, industry, and local standards, having established over 80 categories and more than 430 individual standards.
