LANPEC is the designated technical authority in the industries of petroleum drilling machinery and petrochemical equipment. It is a National High-Tech Enterprise and serves as the supporting institution for the following committees under the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Boilers and Pressure Vessels (SAC/TC262):

Heat Exchangers Subcommittee

Mobile Pressure Vessels Subcommittee

Cryogenic Vessels Subcommittee

The company holds positions as Chair, Vice-Chair, or Secretariat for 9 committees, including the Drilling Equipment & Tools Branch of the China Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association (CAPPEI). Additionally, it participates in 28 other industry technical associations/societies.

LANPEC is responsible for developing and revising relevant national standards, industry standards, and local standards. To date, the company has developed and revised over 80 types of standards (national, industry, and local), totaling more than 430 individual standards.
